Hey, Hey everybody! Let's start out, right off the bat, with a little honesty here...I am not nearly as old as any of you people! I'm pretty sure of it. Okay, okay, I do have a 12-year old and a 9-year old, and I have to take ibuprofen after any physical exertion what-so-ever, but come on!! Twenty years out of high school! Where does time go?? Well, I guess I can fill you all in on a little bit of what has been going on in my life since the big '88 graduation. The summer after I graduated I joined the Peace Corp and went down to South Africa to rescue the down trodden, the oppressed and the weary. Then I decided that wasn't quite the direction that I wanted to go so I came home and met this really great guy at the Cache County Fair--you know, the ones that yell at you as you walk through all the games. We joined forces and became a family of two. Five years later we joined forces again, so-to-speak, and nine months later became a family of three! Well, you know me, the over achiever (remember South Africa?), three years later we became a family of four and that is the number that we have stuck with for the past 18 years. We took up residency in my home town of Mendon and have been there ever since! Life has been really good. I've gotten married, had a couple of kids, gained some weight, lost some weight, gained some weight again, (you know, the never ending battle), but other than that life is pretty dang sweet...although I do get a bit of an itch to head back down to South Africa every now and then. What can I say? I am an out-of-control do-gooder!!

P.S. Some of the statements in this post may or may not be entirely true, and I can not be held responsible for your obvious gullibility.

You are such a liar. You are soo much older than I am. Ibuprofen, spibuprofen, that stuff is for the weak. You really need the good stuff, you know muscle relaxers. What time are we going to meet to go to the tailgate party? I will be seeing you in a few days. You know you love me.

Tammy Thompson,

I have laughed and laughed reading your post and Cathy's post. I remember you two as being nothing but trouble makers! Fun trouble makers at that.

Glad to hear that your dynamic duo has divided to form the fantastic four. But, I am not clear on the events leading up to this new crew. I am not clear on the events here. Can you please clarify, "...we joined forces again, so-to-speak". :)

So I guess Mendon is acceptable, just so as you are not part of that far-left-wing contingent that has some crazy notion that the Wellsvilles are actually called the Mendon Mountains. They clearly have been, are and will forever continue to be the Mighty Wellsvilles that the first rays of the morning sun touch every day.

BTW, one more thing, where is Tim Thalman these days?

Oh, Paleeeze, John! Mendon is right on the Mendon Mountains!! You Wellsville people have been trying to stake claim to our mountains for years. Go get your own!!!

Timmy is down in Eagle Mountain. He married Connie Olsen (Kevin Olsen's sister) and has two boys. He is doing well, I guess. We only see him about once a year, if that, when he decides to come to our annual Cousin Camp during the summer. Maybe I could scare up his phone number from my Aunt for ya!! Let me know.

Tammy, it is so fun to see that you are still such a funny, entertaining girl! It sounds like you have had a very exciting life. I see that JTB is having a hard time 'reading between the lines'. You may have to draw him a picture!!! (Sorry John, couldn't resist). I would love to see you some time!

PS.....
I am sorry that you have been disillusioned, but, John is right. They are the Wellsville Mountains. Sorry about that.

Tammy!!

It was so fun to talk to you this weekend, and your humor is the best!! After talking to you, I got the Mendon itch, made my mom sluff church and take me out there! We were there for a couple of hours, driving up and down each and every street. She showed me the new things that she knew about, we tried to remember who lived and lives where. I took a million picture! I can't believe how big the trees my the "Hart house" have gotten, actually how big all of the trees everywhere have gotten. I envy those of you that are still lucky enough to live there. I wouldn't have wanted to grow up anywhere else! Oh, I did get to see the naked lady house and my mom knew exactly which one it was. Make sure you tell your family hello for me, and they ARE THE MENDON MOUNTAINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It even sounds better. :)

Take care

Mendon Mountains, my butt. You keep wishing. Your pioneers should have hurried up since we beat you by three years. I am still laughing about the reunion. That was the funniest thing ever. Thanks for going with me. Do we still have a date for (wink, wink) the one that needs taken care of?

Hey girlfriend! Yes, it was an absolute riot at the reunion! Not only yes, but !#*@ yes, we have a date for you-know-what (what is that again?) By-the-way, mark your calendar for one of these next days in October for a halloween party at our place. We will send an invite.
