Crazy 20 years. I can't believe how few of you I have seen in the past few years. I am excited to see many of you at the reunion. Don't be offended if I don't recognize you--I am sure it is your new hair style.

After MC I served a Spanish speaking mission in Atlanta Georgia. I returned to run into Suzanne Olsen at an Aggie basketball game (she was on a date) and we got married 6 months later. {You might remember we dated most of 3 years at MC. She went to BYU Jerusalem and I went on my mission and we did not hear from each other again for nearly 2 years.}

Suzanne graduated from USU with degrees in Liberal Arts and Philosophy and I graduated in Biology in 1994. We moved to Salt Lake and I graduated from the U of Utah Medical school in 1998. Medical residency took us to Fort Wayne, Indiana and I graduated there in 2001. We moved back to Utah and have been in South Jordan ever since.

We have 4 kids. Tanner (15 in October) born while we were at USU, Trae (13, also in October) came while in Med school, Kyson (Ky)our Hoosier is 9, and finally, Kennedi (6) was born during the closing ceremonies for the 2002 Olympics. The fireworks around the SL valley were really an expression of Suzanne's gratitude to finally have a girl.

I keep pretty busy with work, church activities, and chasing the kids. Pretty much the same for Suzanne--but in reverse order. Suzanne and I both enjoy running. It is one hobby that you can do pretty much any time or place. We run several marathons per year--Mostly in Utah but we do love to travel so we have done several away from home too. (We ran with Lance Armstrong at Boston in April--ok we saw Lance Armstrong at Boston while running in April). That was my 30th marathon. Our training runs often are our date nights. Our kids will run with us some too. That has been fun.

We also enjoy traveling, hiking, backpacking, camping, cycling, and any beach/watersport. Throw in photography/scrap booking for Suzanne. (I have a particular interest in endurance sports medicine--marathons, ironman triathlons, ultra-marathons etc)

It will be fun to see all of you.
