Dave Hansen said...: Hi Everyone

It has been real fun to look through these pictures and see all of us as young kids. I love the 80’s hair. I have tried to get my wife to do her hair big like so many of the girls did in high school. For some reason, she won’t.

While we are on the pictures, I should tell you that I still wear glasses, but they are not as big. I also get haircuts more frequently and I comb it daily. Add a few gray hairs and a few pounds to that, and I pretty much look the same.

After school I went on a LDS mission to Anaheim, California. It was a great experience. I am glad my friends talked me into going.

From there I attended USU for 6 years ( “a lot of people go to school for 6 years.” “Yeah. They’re called doctors.” If you can name the movie these lines come from, you have a well balanced, culture filled life.) While I was there, I met and married my beautiful wife Marla. Like all of my friends, I married up.

Marla and I have three beautiful kids. Sydney is 9, Sam is 7 and Amber is 2. I hate how fast they are growing up. Fortunately they still talk to me and think I am cool. If not cool, at least not a dork. I understand that all changes too soon, so I am enjoying it while I can, and fearing the day it all changes.

We are planning on going up for the dinner Saturday. I have a real poor ability to remember names. Please don’t be offended if I don’t remember yours.
