This is John's wife. He's too shy to want to say anything about himself, so I get the job. (That's how most unpleasant things go in our house, by the way.) I understand from talking with some of you that John acts much like he did in high school.
John was super excited when he was able to return to his hometown to scratch out a living. He still loves playing tennis, and spends time hitting the ball with his three kids (a boy and two girls). I decline to play because I cannot kick his trash. We enjoy hiking, skiing, running, and chasing down adventures all over the globe.
He is excited to see you all and reminisce about the good ole days. "Good times. Noodle salad."
Ain't she sweet! I can't believe 20 years has passed. After high school I spent 2 years on an LDS mission in Santiago, Chile. I went to USU for 2 years and I almost graduated. But then I attended BYU for two more years (my wife doesn't think you guys will know I am joking). I returned to Logan, which was not in the plans, following my graduation. I have been very grateful that I returned to Cache Valley. I have been working as a financial planner ever since, which I love. As you can tell from the above comment, I out married myself and have three great kids.
I try to spend as much time as I can with a few of my childhood buddies. It keeps me childlike (Michelle's translation: childish).
I am very excited to see you all in the coming weeks!
John, You're killin' me Smalls, you're killin' me! It is good for me to know you. My blog name is BrotherSmith because I had to put something I would remember since my memory's shelflife is about 10 minutes, especially with computer functions and passwords and such. The last time I laughed with you was down in Farmington at the Oakridge Country Club for the Summerhays weddings. I miss seeing your smile that says, "don't think I'm not up to something because I am." I tried to get a position with a seminary or institute up in the valley but there are so many ahead of me on the list that it was simply futile. Besides my wife keeps trying to convince me that a trailerhome in San Diego would be better than a home on the hills of Cache Valley simply because the weather is warm and she doesn't like the cold at all. So Cache Valley is a hard sell for her. I can't wait to find out what mischief you're cooking up when we get up there for the reunion.
Do you remember after our missions, we were reminiscing one day about Argentina and Chile while at USU. We started talking about a half-baked idea of going back for a visit together? I recall we both started kind of talking about doing it, then the next thing you know, we were both dating our future spouses. Do you think our wives would let us go now?

Hey Mickelson,
Do you remember after our missions, we were reminiscing one day about Argentina and Chile while at USU. We started talking about a half-baked idea of going back for a visit together? I recall we both started kind of talking about doing it, then the next thing you know, we were both dating our future spouses. Do you think our wives would let us go now?
